All my life I’ve been interested in architecture and interior design, and have been fortunate enough to practice both in my own projects. About fifteen years ago, it was through my fascination with alternative building techniques, like straw bale and rammed earth construction, that I became acquainted with the kindred fields of green, eco-friendly building and sustainable development. Predictably, I was residing in Marin at the time of my epiphany. Later, while exiled in suburbia for a time, I was vilified for trying to spread the word about these compelling concepts. So, I’ve been delighted to see the promotion and gradual acceptance of this most important transition to sanity.

It was natural for me, as a concerned citizen and realty broker, to eagerly earn certification as an EcoGreen Realtor and an Eco Broker -- so as to become even more knowledgeable in residential water and energy efficiency, alternative energy sources, indoor air quality, responsible building, green financing, and environmental issues in general. Sustainable health and well-being—as well as survival—are the goals of reducing pollution and depletion of the earth’s resources. And, I’m always happy to share green/sustainable information with clients to help them with considerations concerning their properties, or potential properties.
